    Friday Favorites | Vol. 10

Happy Friday, friends! I have some fun things to share today so let’s jump right in. 🙂

    o n e

    These cups

Not the best picture but these cups are soo cute! I bought them at Target a few weeks ago and have been loving using them all day.

It adds just a little bit of summer to my day, which makes me happy. They are also deceivingly bigger than they look. They hold 20oz of water!

Speaking of summer, we booked our first beach vacation for next month in Ocean City, NJ! We are so excited to take Shane to the beach for a few days.

Tommy and I both love the beach and try to take a longer trip every year but we weren’t able to last year. We did go down for a day with Shane last year though. He loved it so hopefully he will this year as well!

If anyone has any tips on what to bring with us that will be helpful for being at the beach with a toddler, please let me know!

    Found here

I found this cleaning schedule at the beginning of the week and have been loving it! I have been feeling overwhelmed about getting everything done and this really simplifies it and makes it seem doable. I’m all for anything that will make my life simpler. 😉

Another favorite this week would be walks with my boy! As a SAHM sometimes I really just need to get out of the house and Shane really loves it as well so its a win-win for the both of us!

    Etsy shop here

I’m still loving working on the orders for our Etsy shop with my husband. There has been a learning curve for sure and hasn’t been all rainbows and sunshine but I feel like we are really starting to get into a groove and have fun working together. Yay!

That’s all for this week. Linking up with Narci.

    Let’s Have Coffee | Vol. 15

If we were having coffee, I’d probably be drinking this kind because I’ve been obsessed with Starbucks lately. I used to really like the Veranda blend but I find that it’s not strong enough for me anymore.

If we were having coffee, I’d share that working on my Etsy shop with my husband has been so much fun and super rewarding. We are slowly adding products and even have a few collabs set up with other bloggers, which I am super excited about!

If we were having coffee, I’d let you know that I am still waking up before my son (on most days) and it is still really awesome. I’ve been going through the She Reads Truth bible studies ever since their advent study last year and I’ve been really enjoying them. Have you ever done a She Reads Truth study?

If we were having coffee, I’d give you an update on how some of my goals are coming along. This past month I’ve been doing a 30 day social media detox and it has been super life-giving. I will probably try to get a post up about that after it ends on March 6th. I’d also share that I have been slowly purging and organizing our house. I went through all of our clothes and gave away SO many. I now have next to nothing, which I actually really enjoy. It makes getting dressed much easier!

If we were having coffee, I’d share that I am contemplating continuing on with Shane’s monthly updates. I know I want to continue taking his picture every month until he’s two. They are so fun to look back on and see how much he’s grown. I just also never really want to write those posts (although I would love to have them to look back on too) because it’s so hard for me to remember haha. What do you think? Keep going or maybe change to every three months?

If we were having coffee, I’d ask what you were reading lately. I’ve been reading a bit more than normal but I have a hard time getting into a book. It’s always a lot easier when someone tells me it’s a great book before I start. 😉 I recently read All the Little Lights. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars.

And lastly, if we were having coffee, I’d of course want to know what is going on with you. What have you been up to??

    ATZHomeDesign – Our Etsy Shop

Hi friends. I know I said I would be posting Shane’s 11 month update yesterday but it was so dark all day I couldn’t get any pictures of him! So I thought I’d share about our Etsy shop today instead. I thought I’d write a post about my husband and I’s Etsy shop because it’s honestly one of the biggest reason why I haven’t been blogging much recently. I believe we started working on it in June and it officially opened on September 1st.

About Our Shop + The Setup

Our Etsy shop is called ATZHomeDesign and it is a rustic and industrial home decor shop. We started this particular shop because I love working on home decor projects and have made quite a bit throughout our two years of marriage. We also thought it was perfect for us because Tommy loves welding (his job) and we also make tables and furniture, which requires him to weld them. It’s a perfect mix of our passions together and we are so excited about it.

As I mentioned before, it took us three months to get it up and running. We opened our shop with six designs and they took a lot of time and work to get designed and made. Throw in a baby and holy cow we are busy. It’s slowed down a lot now that our designs are up so it’s a lot easier to find time to blog.

    Our Original Designs

    Entryway Coat Rack with Shelf

This is one of my favorite designs that we have. We kept it in our house and it’s been such a dream as it keeps our coats off of the kitchen table. I really love the shelf where I can style it the way I like too. It’s also available in two other colors as well – gray and dark wood.

    Kitchen Organizer

Our most popular design yet – the kitchen organizer. We have already sold seven of these and everyone seems to be loving theirs. Just like the Entryway Coat Rack, it comes in three different colors as well. Also available with two different basket colors.

This is what the dark wood option looks like!

    Industrial Style Coffee Table

This was our very first design! It’s a really fun one because Tommy gets to weld the legs of the table together. Super, super cute!

    Industrial Style Coffee Cart

In similar fashion, our industrial style coffee cart would match very well with the coffee table!

    Farmhouse Style Number Plaque

Our simple but cute house number sign!

    Metal Blanket Ladder

Last but not least, our metal blanket ladder! This one is also available in a few different color options – black, white, and raw steel.

Well, that’s what we have been up to for most of the summer, while also staying busy with Shane! We also introduced a Christmas line. If you are interested in seeing any of these options or any of our Christmas designs, check out our shop at HERE

    Friday Favorites | Vol. 8

Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve participated in Friday Favorites so I thought today is a good a time as any since I have lots of things to catch you all up on! 🙂

Ever since moving into our own space, we were able to have my dog come live with us! Tommy is even more of a dog-lover than I am and we are both just loving having Noelle live with us. She just brings so much more joy to our home. She is the sweetest dog and we are so lucky to have her!

Ever since entering the second trimester I have finally gotten my energy back — and also my appetite! It’s been so, so awesome to finally feel “normal” again. I am able to have my morning coffee, which I am so happy about. I can also spend more time taking care of the house and cooking healthy food too. It took a while for all of these things to fall back into place, and sometimes I even doubted that they actually would. It just feels awesome to finally be able to have a routine again.

I know I mentioned this in one of my pregnancy updates but, I am really loving our new rocker we got for the baby’s room! It’s the perfect size and I got it for a great price. I’ll link it here if you’d like to check it out for yourself. (This is an affiliate link!)

I’ve been working on my baby girl blanket (No, not because we’re having a girl! We do find out Monday though!). I will be adding it to my Etsy shop soon and cannot wait to really start focusing more on different items over the next month. I already have started the cutest polar bear winter hat for a one-year-old and cannot wait to share with you guys!

Tommy and I got back from our Wildwood beach vacation earlier this week. While we were down there we had an awesome date night at this amazing Italian restaurant. I love date nights with him, especially when they include Italian food 😉. I will be recapping our vacation sometime next week so be on the lookout for that!

I think that’s all for this week! I’m really excited to have the motivation to blog again. I’ve really missed this place. I’m linking up with these lovely ladies below. Don’t forget to come join us!

    Let’s Have Coffee | Vol. 11

It has been way too long since I’ve sat down for a cup of coffee with you guys! In case you’re new here, I sit down and have a coffee date with my friends over at Erin’s blog. I’m a bit late to the link up this month but normally we meet every second Monday of each month. We just talk about whatever is on our hearts as if we were really having coffee together. We’d love for you to come join us!

If we were having coffee, I would ask if you’ve heard the news that I’m pregnant! I haven’t joined in for coffee since announcing the news so I would have to catch up all up on that. It’s been a complete whirlwind since finding out in May, but we are so very excited for our little bundle of joy joining our family in January!

If we were having coffee, I would admit that it’s hard for me to talk about anything other than the baby at this point. Our world is going to change so much and it’s so hard not to at least try to picture how our lives our going to look once baby is here. I’d also admit that it’s hard not talking about it because we are finding out the gender of our sweet babe this Monday!

If we were having coffee, I would ask you what your favorite type of brewed coffee is for when you are drinking coffee at home. I’m always looking for new brands of coffee to try. I like to switch up what I drink so I don’t get too used to one type and then each cup really tastes great.

If we were having coffee, I would let you know that I feel a bit lost since finding out I’m pregnant. There just have been so many changes this year. I started the year out as a stay-at-home wife, we moved out of our first apartment, and then found out that I was pregnant. I’m going to actually do a whole post about this soon but I’m trying to find my groove again with whether or not I’m going to still be pursuing blogging full-time. I’m still trying to work out exactly what all of this means for my life.

If we were having coffee, I would explain that I am planning on working hard on my Etsy shop over the next few months. I have neglected it a lot lately. I plan on trying to stock it up as much as possible with new blankets, baby items, and home decor before baby comes. I also really want to collaborate with some bloggers within the coming months too so if that’s something you’d be interested in, please contact me!

If we were having coffee, I’d ask how your spiritual life is lately. I feel like it’s so easy not to bring this up with friends but so very important. I would share that I’m starting to feel closer to God lately. I feel a bit lost in my relationship with him because my husband and I switched churches, then ended up switching back to our old church after moving back into town. We’ve also been so busy this summer that we have been missing a lot of church. This always affects my relationship with God as well. I’m really hoping with the start of fall we can really fall back into a consistent routine of not missing church anymore. I think that will be great for both of our walks with Jesus.

Thanks for joining me for coffee! It was so great to have you. Before we go though, please tell me what else is new with you! I’d love to hear. 😋

    Friday Favorites | Vol. 6

Hi friends! I’m back again for Friday Favorites. The past two weeks have been an adjustment since we no longer have our own place until July 1st. We are currently living with my mom for a couple of months. But nevertheless there are still good things to be thankful for even during this time.

We get to live with puppies again! I had a dog (Noelle, the one on the left) who I wasn’t able to bring with me when we got married because our apartment didn’t allow it. But now we get to live with her and the other dogs my mom has and it’s been so fun!

Tommy and I made Philly Cheese Steaks last night for dinner and they were AMAZING. I almost took a picture and then I don’t know what stopped me but let me know if you’d be interested in a recipe for them. They were so, so good!

I’m one week into our Online Bible Study and am seriously loving the study. It’s opening my eyes to just how much we need Jesus and how he really is the only thing that will satisfy our souls. If you want to learn more about what I learned, check that out here.

I don’t have a picture for this one but my cousin is getting married tomorrow! I’m so excited to drive down to Maryland and watch him get married. We are staying in a hotel overnight tomorrow night too and I’m super excited for a night away with Tommy.

I thought I’d share with you guys a sneak peek on my next Etsy listing! It’s the boy blanket I made, but in girl colors! Loving how these are turning out. Follow along with me on Instagram for the big launch soon!
